For me two songs together are not a medley... what do you think?
For me a medley is when a band play a part of a song, then another part of a different song, then another one. But when a complete song is played and is connected in its end with the beginning of a whole new one should be reported as two songs, not as a medley. What do you think?

update the venue name to include provinces/states from non-US places.
I am offended I cannot include my province in venue titles.

Did e-mail notifications stop working?
Can anyone else confirm that e-mail notifications stopped working?
The last notification I received was at 9:30 AM (US Eastern Time) on July 12.
I tried changing my e-mail address, thinking that maybe the setlist.fm server got blacklisted by my e-mail provider (GMail), but that doesn't seem to have helped.

Improve search functionality
Am search for this band:
The CultBoth the simple and advance search don't match to this (well-known) band on the first page of results. That made redo the search with quotation marks (asking a bit much for a more casually user), like "the cult". Same results. Not sure if you are ignoring articles (a, an, the) in your default search. Either way, enable them in at least the adv search, or when surrounded by quotation marks.
I ultimately went to google and searched on "site:setlist.fm the cult" to find my match. Happy to do it, but it shouldn't have…

Non-ASCII characters in images should be shown
For example, http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/egotrippi/2009/yo-talo-tampere-finland-5bd66760.html looks ok, but when you turn it into an image the scandinavic characters break: http://www.setlist.fm/widgets/setlist-image-v1?id=5bd66760

add a forum
We are currently wondering, if you guys would be interested in getting an old school forum (or message board, bulletin board, discussion board or whatever you name it). Just vote on this idea or comment to raise your concerns.

Can't add setlist this morning
Have been trying and failing to add a setlist this morning. Nothing happens when I click "Submit" or "Preview" at end. Setlist is Jarvis Cocker, Rock City, 14 June 2009. Thanks

Create average setlist for a tour
Calculating how often songs are played and their position in the setlist, an average setlist for the tour would be created.
I saw something like this being done during Radiohead's In Rainbows tour and I thought it was an interesting idea. I have no idea how hard to code this would be but it would be nice if we could.

a small bug in the advanced search section
i have forgotten that there is the feedback forum, so i first posted it on michis page.
there's a small bug, whithin the "advanced search". perhaps you didn't recognized it until yet.
but now i open a "call" for this problem :-)
there's a small bug, whithin the "advanced search".
if you have more than 10 results, you get a pageable list, but you can only view the first ten results. The links for site 2...x are faulty.
there is a problem with the "-sign in the search term. within the links it's translated to html-script (") and the browser…1 votefixed and online

How to name the venue?
i think it is useful to discuss the name of the venues.
there are different names for one venue, for example:
the olympic stadium in munich:Olympiastadion, München, Germany
Olympiastadion, Munich, Germanythe first is the german version (except germany), the second uses the english name of munich.
what do you think?
should the venues be named by there local names or should we use the english name?Another point is the United kingdom. should there be used united kingdom as the country or use the origin country names like england, ireland?

How to Suggest New Artists to be Added?
I just saw Street Sweeper Social Club (opening for Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction) and I want to add their setlist on this site. Since they are a relatively new group, they aren't in the setlist.fm database yet, so I am unable to add the setlist.
Is there a procedure for requesting new artists to be added?

Adding @Cover and @With for Ambiguous Artists
Back in their early days, Metallica played a cover song called "Let It Loose" which was written by an obscure NWOBHM band called Savage. If I try to add @Cover[Savage] it always returns an error saying Unknown Artist.
Now, if I go to add a setlist and type in Savage, I get 4 results:
Savage (Italian disco artist Robert Zanetti)
Savage (NZ hip hop MC)
Savage (heavy metal)
Savage (French house music producer Geraud Lafarge)Obviously I want the heavy metal one. I tried adding @Cover[Savage (heavy metal)] but that didn't work either.
Is there a way to add @Cover…

Possible Bug Found?
Judas Priest plays a song called "The Green Manalishi (With the Two-Pronged Crown)" which is actually a Fleetwood Mac cover, but I don't think that's relevant. Ever since the latest version of setlist.fm went online, this song gets messed up if you add it in a setlist. The autocorrection page says:
Unknown artist -- the Two-Pronged Crown
This happens regardless of whether to autocorrection box is checked or unchecked. I also tried fixing it with batch edit, but that didn't work either.
I'm guessing the site was updated so that "(With the Two-Pronged Crown)" is converted into "@With[the Two-Pronged Crown]".…

formalise a capitalisation standard, or at least ignore capitalisation for statistics
It's getting very tedious seeing people edit setlists backwards and forwards for capitalisation changes, mostly between MusicBrainz style ("This Is the Best") to capitalising all words ("This Is The Best").
I would vote for the MusicBrainz style as this would presumably help with other integration (Last.fm has cited MusicBrainz as their preferred source for years), but any formal standard would be better than the current setup.

# of songs per albums played statistic
I'd like to be able see for every single show how many songs are played by album of the band.
It would probably be hard to do since we'd have to tag every song with the album it belongs to.
But I thought it could be a good idea.Hope you got what I meant to say. :P

List covers on the original artist page
It would be nice to list covers on the original artist page so we could see what other band is performing his songs.
