  2. This is not his list. It is Paul weller's list from the English Tour. Freddy's usually includes his own hits like Games People Play. Covers of Chuck Berry tunes like Nadine, and Dizzy which he co wrote with Tommy Roe.

  3. Before saving the new setlist one creates, there should be a correction on the naming of the tour, in order to avoid having different tours just because a letter is not capitalzed

i.e. Franz Ferdinand have the following tours listed: “Tonight (4 sets)“, “Tonight: (1)“, “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand (14)“, and “Live Tonight: Franz Ferdinand (14)“.

  4. Since the introduction of the @Tape tag, intro tapes are now incorrectly added to Average Setlists. Specifically, the intro tape is listed as the "Show Opener" instead of the first song. Example:

  5. There are massive problems with the Last.fm import feature. I would like to suggest that the feature be modified to correct these problems. If it is not possible for the problems to be corrected, then I suggest removing the Last.fm import feature from the site. In my opinion, the current version of this feature is causing too many headaches to justify its existence. Here is a list of problems:

    (1) It adds duplicate setlists. Even if a setlist already exists, the Last.fm import feature will still add a new setlist, thereby creating a duplicate. This creates lots of extra work…

this will be available with the next update (might be by tomorrow morning).

simply search for song:“like a rolling stone” (note the quotes!). you may even search for multiple songs in one query.

    Have fun searching!

    Cheers

  7. Since we're in the festival period I has this idea to deal with festival shows.

I thought about adding a Festival tickbox to the add setlist page.

In the venue field you'd add the festival's location.
Then you check the tickbox to notify that the show is part of the festival.
This diplays 2 fields, first one with festival name which could be automatically filled with the name of the festival (linked with the venue).
And the second field would be the stage the band played on.

    Here's an exemple :

    Venue : Festivalpark, Werchter, Belgium
    Festival ? YES
    Festival…

  8. Pretty simple really. Anyone that is not signed in cannot uncheck the "Use setlist.fm's autocorrection..." checkbox. In other words, the autocorrection feature is mandatory unless you have an account on the site.

You might also consider removing the "Revert" link on the Autocorrections/Warnings page for anyone that isn't signed in. But I'm not sure if this is really necessary.

I see many anonymous users making simple spelling/capitalization mistakes that should be fixed by autocorrection. However, since the mistakes are not being fixed, I can only assume that they are unchecking the autocorrection checkbox. I have no idea why they would…

  10. (original title "Support UTF-8 instead of the Latin-1 charset")

I wrote about it already, yeah, but I described it just as Polish characters, whereas it's a global problem of international bands, so this could (possibly) get more votes. Changing the charset is a necessity for bands outside the countries listed here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin-1#Coverage
I realise this is quite a big thing to do, but it would really help bands outside the "major" countries.

  12. I have troubles adding a new setlist.

When I add the artist or venue name I get no automatic propositions.
And when I submit the setlist I get this message for the venue field.

Could not locate error message for component: VenueAutocompleteFormComponentPanel@border:leftColumn:body:editPanel:container:editBox:editForm:locationBorder:body:locationSelect and error: [ValidationError message=[null], keys=[unknown, PersistentObjectAutocompletePanel$1], variables=[]]. Tried keys: locationSelect.unknown, unknown, locationSelect.PersistentObjectAutocompletePanel$1, PersistentObjectAutocompletePanel$1.

  13. Do a background check on this band supposedly called "Fade to Black." A Google search yields only their setlist.fm page and many irrelevant links.

  15. When I try to add a setlist by The Fall, setlist.fm suggests a number of artists but not The Fall. Despite The Fall being setup on the website already, and there being several setlists by them.

Instead I have to create the setlist via the "Last2Setlist" function via last.fm, which isn't ideal. Could this be fixed please? Thanks

  16. currently you can only really add setlists for bands. I can't find anywhere online that you can list the setlists of what DJs played. I know mainly DJs play other people's music, but the framework you have here could easily be adapted to list that, in the same way you can list a @Cover or something now

  17. Added venues can be marked on Google Maps
    Why?
To see in which country / venues f.ex. U2 plays
    or...
To create global map for performances of band
    or..
To compare markers for different tours / artists

  20. Why does Canada have to be written with al the Canadian dates? I doj't see USA beside the American dates. I tried to fix this, but someone went in and put it back to the way it was. It looks unprofessional.
