Drop "Canada"
Why does Canada have to be written with al the Canadian dates? I doj't see USA beside the American dates. I tried to fix this, but someone went in and put it back to the way it was. It looks unprofessional.
now states are added to some countries (such as the USA and Canada) and the country’s always displayed. please read the venue section of the updated guidelines and the current blogpost http://blog.setlist.fm/2009/09/new-features-on-setlistfm.html

I vote for the Toronto, ON version

In my opinion, it should be either:
Toronto, ON
Toronto, CanadaI don't think it should be:
Toronto, Ontario
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Toronto, ON, CanadaThat's just my personal opinion. It really doesn't matter to me though, as long as it's consistent. I'd be more interested to hear from the people that have suggested changing it from the way it is now.

As this suggestion came more than once and, correct me if I'm wrong, always from Canadian people, we'll take that into consideration. It seems that the current way looks "unprofessional" and/or "offending" for some. That's of course something we're trying to avoid :-).
The only thing left is: if we write "Toronto, ON" - should we add the Canada then or drop it? I know there's a inconsistence as we don't add the "United States" add the end of all venues (but that's mainly because of the limited space) ... -

"Canada" is written in all the Canadian venues because that is what the guidelines specify:
"Venues should have the format [location], [city], [state] for US venues and [location], [city], [country] for non-US venues."

However, your suggestion is not a new one:
http://setlistfm.uservoice.com/pages/14938-setlist-fm-features/suggestions/265409-update-the-venue-name-to-include-provinces-states-from-non-us-placesAlso, the admins are planning a complete overhaul of the way setlist.fm manages venue names. I'm not sure if that will change "Canada" in the venue names or not.
