An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThis is a known issue. I can't speak for the Administrators, but I believe they are working on a fix.
If you find any duplicate artists, you can post them in this thread:
http://www.setlist.fm/forum/setlistfm/website-support/duplicate-artistsbands-2bd6bc56We are already aware of the two duplicates that you mentioned (Bleed From Within & Upon a Burning Body).

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThe @Song and @Cover tags are the same.
The site will automatically use the @Song tag if there is a relationship between the two artists on MusicBrainz.
For example, Robert Plant is a “member of” Led Zeppelin, so that‘s why his solo shows use the @Song tag.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedBasically, my main concern is to make as few mouseclicks as possible when opening all my notifications. Right now, if I receive 100 notifications (34 setlist added, 33 setlist updated, 33 new comments), I need 103 mouseclicks to open all 100 links. This is because GMail would group all the "setlist added" into one thread, all the "setlist updated" into one thread, etc.
If Setlist.fm made the changes that you suggested, GMail would no longer group the messages into threads (unless the artist/venue/date/tour was the same). So in the worst case scenario, I would need 200 mouseclicks to open 100 links.
I don't believe GMail has the capability to force messages with different subjects into a single thread. It will only do this if the subject is the same.
I understand that not everyone uses GMail, and not everyone cares about minimal mouseclicks like I do. I am just saying what works best for me.
An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThere is a benefit to having only 3 different subjects. If you use an e-mail client like GMail, which parses all messages with the same subject into 1 thread, then the consistent subject names lets your inbox be a lot less cluttered.
I personally do not want 30 different e-mail threads in my inbox, which is what would happen if information was added to the subject. I'd rather have 3 different e-mail threads, with each thread having 10 messages, which is the way it is now.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedSounds like something the Administrators will need to look at it. Meanwhile, you could import the events individually using the Last.fm bookmarklet.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThe list of albums comes from the database at MusicBrainz.org. To facilitate correct album assignments, make sure the songs are spelled/punctuated the same on Setlist.fm as they are at MusicBrainz. Also keep in mind that album assignments do not occur instantly, so if you add a new song to Setlist.fm, it could take some days/weeks before an album is assigned.
That being said, if you find album assignments that are missing or incorrect, you can report them in this thread and the Moderators will fix them.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedYou can do this on the concerts page:
http://www.setlist.fm/concerts/*username*
Looks for the "Artists" subheading on the left side of the page, and then click the number in parenthesis next to each artist.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThe idea of hiding the @Cover tag if the solo artist was a member of the band being covered has been discussed in the private forum for Mods/Admins. I don't remember the result of the discussion, but I agree with you that it's a good idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment leglessmoof commentedThis idea is very similar to this idea. Not quite a duplicate, but pretty close:
http://setlistfm.uservoice.com/forums/14938-setlist-fm-features/suggestions/339579-video-tag-to-link-to-secondary-youtube-video-of-t
I'm pretty sure this is being worked on. I can't say when it will go live though.
