Mandatory Autocorrection for Anonymous Users
Pretty simple really. Anyone that is not signed in cannot uncheck the "Use setlist.fm's autocorrection..." checkbox. In other words, the autocorrection feature is mandatory unless you have an account on the site.
You might also consider removing the "Revert" link on the Autocorrections/Warnings page for anyone that isn't signed in. But I'm not sure if this is really necessary.
I see many anonymous users making simple spelling/capitalization mistakes that should be fixed by autocorrection. However, since the mistakes are not being fixed, I can only assume that they are unchecking the autocorrection checkbox. I have no idea why they would do this. Maybe because they are new to the site and not familiar with how things work? Either way, I'm spending a lot of time fixing simple mistakes like this. This feature should reduce or eliminate a lot of that work.
Nice idea! It’s on.
