  1. Filter tour setlists by month

ability to filter artist setlists by month, instead of only year. Ex: an artist plays a different setlist during the first leg of a tour than the second leg. If I'm seeing the artist early in the second leg of the tour, the average setlist data will be irrelevant because it will be skewed by the first half data.

  2. Add a "like" button to show your excitement for a song being on the setlist

First I thought about the option to designate your favourites among the songs you've heard live from your profile, but then I thought, why not do it directly from the setlist?
What I imagine is a button similar to Facebook's famous "like" button, with a different logo - maybe a heart, smiley or simply the setlist.fm logo - I'd go with a heart - next to each song on the setlist. When you hover over the button with your mouse, it will display "I was very excited this song was performed". Next to the button, if anyone clicked it already,…

  6. make the setlist images in news posts clickable links to the relevant setlist.

Almost every news article on Setlist.fm contains at least one setlist.

These setlists are included as embedded PNG images, but are not links which can be clicked, to bring you to that setlist page.

There is no obvious* way to get from a news article about a concert to that concert's setlist page.

It seems like a very clear and direct way would be to make that embedded setlist image a link.

I often end up absent-mindedly clicking on the image to get there and get frustrated all over again. It is behaviour I believe most internet users would expect.

  8. Add status REJECTED, or similar, for suggestions already-a-feature and not-a-feature

Looking through the DECLINED suggestions, one has to read through the already-a-feature and not-a-feature suggestions.

    Configuration issue, or uservoice.com limitation?

  10. Cross reference artist and venue data in a searchable way. Filters?

Could the data not be organized in a way to filter out what you aren't looking for to drill down to a manageable list? ie. looking for a given artist in a given city or venue but don't know the year

  12. More informations for venues (address, geo-coordinates)

It would be nice to put more data for a venue, like address (street, postal code) and the geo-coordinates (and then a link to Google Maps).

  13. To develop a tool/widget to export the user's charts in other websites (like blogs, Last.fm...)

I don't know if this idea is feasible. I know there already is a widget feature to export setlists, but I came to think it would be great to have also such a thing for the user's charts.

  14. Stop considering Neil Young and Promise of the Real as covering Neil Young, and Crazy Horse songs - categorize by album

Neil Young has a new band, so all his songs are listed as covers and we lose the album categorization. This is silly. Neil Young songs should be categorized by album regardless of whether he was solo, with Crazy Horse, or with Promise of the Real.

  15. Allow further customization for receiving notification emails

I'm quite surprised this hasn't been implemented yet. I'm quite sure I'm not the only on who's received 30 email in the span of a half hour because of that one guy who made it his mission to change every "The" in a song title to "the". Here are some suggestions.

    1. Allow the choice to receive emails ONLY if a setlist is updated, not added. For the most part I only track bands to see the setlists. If it's a newly added setlist with no songs posted, I'm not interested.

    2. Allow the ability to receive setlist notifications for…

  18. "Guess the setlist" game

When going to concerts with friend we sometimes compete in guessing song that are going to be played. It would be really cool to utilise setlist.fm for this!

  19. Song counts

When I view a setlist I want to see how often each song has been played by that band AT A GLANCE. This is the most urgently missing feature from the site!

  20. Make album statistics visible in the Preview screen.

I think it would be nice if when you previewed a setlist (whether adding or editing it) the album pie chart was visible. It could help users to spot potential mistakes that the auto-correct doesn't fix.
