  1. Improve security and enable https

    Passwords have to be between 6 and 15 characters - this is bad practice!
    Traffic does not route via a secure, encrypted https connection but instead via a insecure and sniffable http connection - als very bad practice!

  2. Average setlist for all shows, not just tours and years

    The database only allows you to view the average setlist feature for an artist based only on the tour or year. We should be able to see an average setlist for all the tours all throughout the years. It shouldn't be difficult because the average setlist feature works on Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour which averages setlist ranging from 1989 to the present.

  4. Add a compare feature?

    thought this could be an interesting idea for comparing setlists from a band you saw a few years ago to their setlist on their current tour or something, or comparing a show's setlist you saw with more current shows to see how they compare.. i dunno.

  5. add option to show a map that contains all venues and festivals a user has been to

    It would be awesome to see how much I travelled the world to see my favourite bands.

  6. New attributes: Length, delay

    I know that simplicity is the best feature for a site. But could you consider adding some more information to the concerts? Like duration of the concert/encore. The delay from the begining. These attributes could be used to calculate an average duration of a concert of an artist in the year, etc.

  7. Quick duplicate or 'Save As' setlist

    Many shows on a tour feature the same set list, or additional shows are added. It would be great to simply duplicate shows without having to create a new entry manually.

  8. Add poster, flyer entry...

    Please add the possibility to add the concert's poster, flyer or announcement to an individual setlist or tour. Either by url, or by uploading it in an image file...

  10. Change how covers are handled

    You still add @cover behind the song but now the album stats can be correct and you'll have more information about the specific cover as well as information about the original song and everyting like the way it was.

    Below this tekst I put an example of an information page of a cover song, in this example: Always on my mind covered by Pet Shop Boys.

  11. Email Alerts

    User can nominate favourite artist/s in their profile and receive email alert any time a new setlist for that artist is created. This would be a great way for fans to track which songs their fave artists are currently playing, or take a trip down memory lane! One stop shop, rather than trawling individual artist sites/forums. Handy for the ultra-keen but time-poor fans who can't keep on top of which of their fave artists may be currently touring internationally... I would LOVE this feature and an email would prompt me to visit probably everyday, with my pre-set search criteria saved!

  12. Make pie chart segments a colour that relates to the album it represents

    Currently, most of the pie chart segments take on shades of green, blue and brown. It would make the data a lot easier to interpret if album segments were a colour that related to the album art.
    At least, make pie chart colours more distinguishable from each other.

  13. Add tickboxes for incomplete and out of order setlists

    It could be useful if there was a tickbox you could check after editing a setlist to precise if the setlist you added is the right one or if there could be some mistakes.

    That would be something like this.

    Complete setlist ? Yes or No
    Right order ? Yes or No
    How sure are you ? 100% sure / 90%...

    And incomplete setlists would appear with when you browse the shows, for exemple :

    Foals at Heaven, London, England INCOMPLETE (in small and red letters :P)

  14. Group opening and main acts as a singular time you visited a venue

    When you look at venues you have attended, if you have seen a main act and an opening act at a venue on the same day they are listed as two separate times you have attended the venue, this isn't correct and makes it more confusing to see which venue you have actually attended the most times when looking at your concert statistics, It would be nice to be able to group the two acts together as a singular visit to the venue.

  15. Dark mode?

    Would it be possible to make a dark mode when using the setlist.fm website? The white background can be very distracting/disruptive to folks around anyone that's using the setlist.fm website while filling out set lists.

  16. providing an RSS feed for artists we can subscribe

    Would be nice to provide a syndication feed for artists. This way we can follow the tour, and be warned when a new setlist is posted.

    Cooperate with bandsintown, so every posted event automaticaly becomes a setlist after it hay been played.

  19. @Instrumental

    This would cover all solos, unknown instrumentals played. On song statistics it should come up as Instrumental, or maybe not come up at all, but in setlists it should come up as whatever you type following the @Instrumental.

    e.g. @Instrumental[Edward Van Halen Guitar Solo] , @Instrumental[Funk Jam]

  20. Restrict editing of artist, venue and date

    I think we should consider restricting changes to artists, venues and dates. While there are some valid usecases for changing one of these attributes, changing more normally indicates a different gig, hence a new setlist.

    • Other date, other venue? Most likely another concert
    • Other artist, oder venue? Certainly another concert
    • Other date, other artist? Again, probably a different gig

    Even changing one property could be restricted:

    • Other date? Probably postponed or simply entered wrong. There's rarley a reason to change it by more than a few days though.
    • Other aritst? Well, only makes sense for things like Dave Matthews Band…
