Allow picture uploads for any given concert.
It would be cool to be able to allow people to upload their own pictures from the concert so that others can see them and remember the show. I would say make the page similar to any "facebook" like photo album and have a dedicated tab for it on the setlist page for any given show.

enter some new fields, such as: Scheduled & actual doors opening time; Scheduled & actual start time, Scheduled & actual end time.
It would be very useful for the fans to know how long did a show last, so it woud be of great help to include some time related fields, such as:
Scheduled & actual doors opening time.
Scheduled & actual start time.
Scheduled & actual end time.Thank you for your help.

Integrate support acts same day/venue concerts
I wish my profile didn't count me adding a band and its support act as 2 separate concerts attended. Maybe I'm missing something but it would be nice to be able to have events that happened on the same day at the same venue as just 1 concert attended. The same for festivals!

How to deal with multi-artist shows?
This year I've been attending 2 show with 2 bands on stage.
Hint vs Ez3kiel
Those made an album together so I could add "Ez3kiel vs Hint" as a new artist. But IMO it would be better if we could add a show with 2 artists. This way, the song played would appear in both bands stats. Also, you could find the show while looking for any of those bands.Air & Hot Rats
Those did not have a record in common. So I can't add Air & Hot Rats as a new artist... All I can do is add…31 votes -
Create an App for iPhone / Android / Windows Phone
I go to a lot of shows, and a lot of the time, I record the setlist as the show goes along. I'd love to be able to use a dedicated app for doing this for the site, rather than making a setlist for a show twice.

Make complete artist statistics exportable to a .txt file?
For us Excel nerds who want to play around with the data ourselves and mess around in Excel for fun? I would love to break out the pivot tables and pie charts for the extensive data this wonderful website provides us. It'd be nice to have all the data in one simple page, with simple formatting.

Fix how covers are tracked; stats are worthless under current methodology.
Covers should only be songs not performed by the original recording artist or songwriter. The @Cover and @Song tags should have different rules and should be tracked separately statistically.
For example, look at Sting's Tour Statistics for Covers and his number one covered band is... Stewart Copland drum roll... The Police. Sting wrote these songs, he is playing his songs, from a different band in a solo show. These are not covers.
Even worse; look at the recent David Crosby & Graham Nash tour stats. All these guys do is play covers if you look at the stats but they…20 votes -
For each tour: calendar of dates with specific songs played for the first time
Say, on the 1st of May a band plays 15 songs. On the 2nd of May they play 14 of the same songs and one new song. On the 3rd of May the play 13 original songs, yesterday's new one and another two ones.
So, the list should be like that:
May, 1: <15 songs>
May, 2: <1 song>
May, 3: <2 songs>

Allow users to edit album track listings
Some songs from more recent albums are added to the album, but others are not. I'm new to setlist.fm but I understand there is an automatic system in place for this, but allowing users to do this could speed it up.
This could possibly extend to a list of albums on each band's page, so that songs can be matched to this?19 votes -
Support full Unicode (UTF-8)
Latin charsets are great for the Americas/Europe/Australia, but what about the rest of the world? Add support for Unicode! Musicbrainz will handle potential collisions (since MBID is used), and many artists there already have romanizations.

Change the way we handle Covers completely
Change the way we handle Covers completely by handling all covers seperatly and stop saying that they are covers. This way the album stats will be correct wich they now really are not!
At the song information you can mention that it is a cover and who is the original artist of that particular song. And you can even create a list of other covering artists of that song.
This way every song has their own count and the album stats of artists will be correct. I hope you all agree with this idea. Thanks for your time!

add a new option for festivals: Stages.
I just went to Groezrock last weekend and figured it'd be pretty nice to add stages to festivals. Just a little optional feature to indicate if a show was played on the main stage, acoustic stage etc.
Perhaps even time-schedules to go with the stages. E.g.: Band X played the Main Stage from 1.00-2.00 and so on. Both would be optional features.
Why do I think this is nice? Well, I am currently adding the @Set["Stage name here.] before each festival show since it's pretty handy to know.

Enable integration with setlists on www.songkick.com
It'd be great if setlists created on songkick.com could be added using the setlist.fm functionality, and be simultaneously added to setlist.fm. And vice versa (setlists added to songkick.com when created in setlist.fm).
songkick.com aren't averse to the idea - see http://bit.ly/3JW3ki

Having statistics for several years/tours
I would like us to have the option to do setlists statics for only a few years, or a few tours.
For example, a band that has been around since the 80's, I wanna be able to see statics for only the last 5 years, or just the tours they did during the 80's and so on....

"WISH LIST" or "To See" lists for all users
Would be great to allow users to keep track of bands/artists they'd like to see. Optionally, you could synch it up with Eventful and other event sites but at least let people manage a simple list of Acts and Concerts they'd like to see/attend/hear/rock out to

To be able to see tour statistics on a given period of time (or the last x concerts statistics)
you can only query using a whole year or a tour name... sometimes it's not enough - you want to see the current band trend

Count concerts by event not bands.
Is it possible to count individual concerts by the event day instead of counting each band that performed? I have been to only 173 concerts but this site is counting each band that performed in a single night as seperate concerts giving me a total of 400+ concerts.

A way to compare multiple set-lists on one page
Setlist.fm is a great website. I have a suggestion. A way to compare multiple set-lists on one page would be a very helpful function. This would be useful by enabling users to see how artists' set-lists changed over the course of a few dates or even a tour.

The ability to add lineups to concerts
It would be nice to be able to add lineups to concerts, and then it can be kept track of how many times an individual performed with the band.
