allow for users to put the videos in themselves.
I've just put a set list up. for one song you have automatically put up some random video that has nothing to do with the band or the song. Also you have duplicated the video for one song for another in the set list.
Perhaps people could put the videos in themselves if they can provide a link for them eg.. from the bands official youtube channel. it'd make a lot more sense than your automatic tool messing it up

Totally agree. I thought that this was hidden for me or something because I am new here but this is such a basic feature. It has to be done through snippet or someting. Many of live performance are just totally different and they deserve to be mentioned.

Wish I could link "Must Be Something in the Water" here http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/prince/2014/phones-4u-arena-manchester-england-33c0bcf5.html to what appears to be the actual performance from that night here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdEATX5wUKo Such a rich performance, and so different than the album version currently linked in that thread.

Even more so when the artist performs a particular song in quite a different way, or even in a different language... Having the actual song played in a concert available on YouTube, while your link takes you somewhere else is a shame...

Sounds like a good idea: I saw a video attached to a concert which was from another concert from another venue while a video of the very concert is available

I agree. What are the magic words on the YouTube. People who post do not follow any convention. What about unpublished songs. Annoying to click on a "new" song and get some random video.

I was at the Jim James show at Forecastle Festival 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky on July 13, 2013. I was on the front row of this show and took a great video of Jim singing Wonderful (The Way I Feel). Here is the link to it on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MDisq-wRB8&feature=c4-overview&list=UUPOt_reNzgvb_TNXqtzCgpg
I think it makes more sense to use a full length video that was taken at the show than to use a video from some other show or from the studio album. -

This idea is very similar to this idea. Not quite a duplicate, but pretty close:
