Cross reference artist and venue data in a searchable way. Filters?
Could the data not be organized in a way to filter out what you aren't looking for to drill down to a manageable list? ie. looking for a given artist in a given city or venue but don't know the year

This is seriously needed, and not by way of dropdown-list selections only. I appreciate the link from the admin from 2018, but if your venue isn't listed, then how do you find it? I did like the ability to filter like this: "artist:(tears for fears) tour:(the tipping point part ii)" but I can't figure out the syntax for searching for artist and venue in a similar way.
EDIT: I figured it out - yes, you can search by "venue", but it needs to be by venueID which isn't super intuitive and takes a little extra work to find.

Like that, that's really good and it's where I go for historical concert data. I'm glad setlist.fm is here. But it could be so much better. Better would be with some choice in between Country and Venue, like State or City. Better would be able to filter out all but (more than one) City or State or Venue. I'm thinking of the way an online electronics vendor lets you filter products by classes of features on their website. Their name begins with bhp and has the word photo in it if you want an example.
