Create average setlist for a tour
Calculating how often songs are played and their position in the setlist, an average setlist for the tour would be created.
I saw something like this being done during Radiohead's In Rainbows tour and I thought it was an interesting idea. I have no idea how hard to code this would be but it would be nice if we could.

Exploring edu birdie.com https://www.geekandnerd.org/edubirdie-com-review/ and similar platforms raises questions about their reliability. Student experiences range from positive to negative, highlighting the importance of thorough investigation before seeking their assistance.

The one you pick will rely upon whether you need this large number of capabilities and obviously your accessible financial plan. It is likewise beneficial to investigate getting a uniquely fabricated application for your business, as need might have arisen and the spending plan. Investing energy and financial plan towards building your own application will be worth the effort over the long haul and advantage your business in manners you were unable to envision.

Hi guys,
We've finally looked at all your feedback and fixed some bugs. The average setlist should now be much more accurate than it was up to now. Additionally, there are now some additional statistics: top opener, main set closer, show closer and number of encores played (just beyond the average setlist).
I consider this issue fixed now. If you feel that the average setlist isn't accurate in a situation, please report this in the forum (http://www.setlist.fm/forum/setlistfm/website-support). If you'd like additional features, feel free to open another ticket here on uservoice.
Cheers, Stefan

Counting Main Set and every single Encore separately might fix that

Some feedback on performance of the Average Set List Generator (ASLG) feature.
I've spent some time cleaning up the track listings for the Pixies Doolittle 20th Anniversary Tour, so all the tracks have consistent capitalization and so forth. This tour had a very consistent set list. There was an intro movie (Un chien andalou) and 19 songs comprising the primary performance, and then a first encore of 2 songs - that part of the set never changed across all 34 performances. The only variation came in the selection of songs played in the second encore performances.
Currently the ASLG is putting the last track from the primary performance ("Gouge Away") as the first song of the first encore, which was never the case. Similarly, "Into the White" was always the second and last song of the first encore, but the ASLG lists it as the first song of the second encore.
I have a theory for why this is happening: only about half of the shows have the introductory movie listed in the set (which might be appropriate, since it wasn't performed, per se), so the ASLG is probably taking an average number of tracks for the primary performance (~19.5) and rounding down, but then correctly placing the film at the beginning, so the ending tracks get bumped.
Anyway, good work. I just found setlist.fm today and think its pretty cool, and I like the ASLG, despite whatever bugs it might have.

Found a problem on Radiohead's 2009 average setlist
http://www.setlist.fm/stats/average-setlist/radiohead-bd6bd12.html?year=2009
It has no encores while there were from 1 to 3 encores per show

It would be interesting to find a way to excluse festival setlists in the average setlists too since festival sets are almost always differents due to time limitation.

I'm really liking this feature, I'll check some examples out and hopefully provide some feedback afterwards :)

Well, I think it can be usefull, but..
f.ex. look at Vertigo Tour average setlist http://www.setlist.fm/stats/average-setlist/u2-23d6b80f.html?tour=Vertigo+Tour
Song "Vertigo" was never played on this tour as 7th, always as 1st or 2nd
Maybe we should add Tour Legs?
I think that encores should be calculated separately -

I think it is uselss. For example Metallica World Magnetic Tour. "Nothing Else Matters" and "Enter Sandman" are in the Encore of the average setlist. Both songs were never played in the Encore the whole tour.

Average setlists are now available to the public. Nevertheless, I encourage anybody to add comments about the results.

Well.. It looks good.. Especially when I look at the U2's average setlist of 360 Tour - http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/u2-23d6b80f.html?tour=360%C2%B0+Tour
I think that: THIS IS IT..
But the problem is that some tours are duplicated. Look at Radiohead's average setlist
http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/radiohead-bd6bd12.html?tour=In+Rainbows"In Rainbows" and "In Rainbows Tour" is the same tour

That's why I suggested being able to edit the tour dates at once instead of adding it date per date. It would save time, you'd just have to add a new tour, date of start and date of end.
Also, I'd love to see tour legs added, for exemple : In Rainbows Tour (European Leg)
That would be useful for average setlists as well since songs played sometimes differ from one leg to another inside the same tour.

Hi guys, thanks for your feedback.
@Beau what kind of inconsistencies do you see?
@Antoine Currently, "the last tour" isn't that easy to determine from the current data, but it's definitely a nice thought.
Anything, anybody else?

Overall results are useless.
Only average setlists by tour are interesting.I suggest the average setlist that appears when you'll click on the "average setlist" button should be the one from the last tour instead of the general one.

I'm looking over the bands I mainly track (U2, DMB, Dir en grey), and I see a few inconsistencies in the overall results... individual tours look generally ok however.

We're happy to announce that the first experiment is now online. You can access average setlists of each artist by replacing 'setlists' with 'average-setlists' in the URL of an artist's page. Sounds more complicated than it is, so here's an example: Change http://www.setlist.fm/setlists/radiohead-bd6bd12.html to http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/radiohead-bd6bd12.html
Here are some direct links to get started:
Metallica http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/metallica-3bd680c8.html
DMB http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/dave-matthews-band-43d6e713.html
Grateful Dead http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/grateful-dead-bd6ad4a.html
Springsteen http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/bruce-springsteen-2bd6dcce.html
U2 http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/u2-23d6b80f.html
NIN http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/nine-inch-nails-1bd6a5bc.html
Coldplay http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/coldplay-3d6bde3.html
Oasis http://www.setlist.fm/average-setlists/oasis-bd6bd7e.htmlPlease tell us what you think, especially if the average setlist doesn't feel quite right. E.g. if a band was always closing with the same song which isn't the last song in the average setlist. If you have further suggestions or questions, don't hesitate to comment right here.
Have fun!
