Iphone and Android applications
I don't know if I asking for something complicated. But could be nice to have a setlist.fm application for mobiles.
It could be something simple. A text editor with setlist.fm tags and able to post in the webpage. At least for start. Also to check the rest of the page setlists.
It would be extremely useful to post concerts when we are in them

I don't really care about an app, but Alex is right: when you download setlist.fm as a bookmark on your (in my case) iphone desktop. It looks very ugly currently...

Every concert, I wish there was an app. Instead I'm entering in a OneNote page.

I'd be interested in putting together an iPhone app, but API only allows retrieving data. Any chance of expanding API for POSTing???

There is an app "Setlister" for Android that lets you search for and browse setlists, no upload yet though.

Excellent ideas, I'd love these too! Who even uses pc's or mac's these days anyway? ;)
Actually I'm surprised that there's no official app for mobiles yet...

Allow users to add section/row/seat locations and map current users on the seating map to see who else is there capturing the setlist... social features.

The iPhone app should help the user capture the setlist live. Once the Artist and/or Tour has been input, allow the user to select from a song list that is ordered alphabetically, or by the frequency that song has been played by that artist or on that tour (if input). Once a song has been added to the setlist, hide it from the selection list.
Possibly add sound hound/shazam "listening" capability in future versions.

Fantastic Idea. You could update the list in real time.

*setlist (not "realist")

Could really do with an app for both easy realist posting during concerts, as well as simple UI when doing setlist lookup on my Android device! +1 from me!
