Each song in a medley has it's own statistic
I'm getting annoyed by looking at statistics and seeing medleys. A medley should be indicated in the setlist, but the space-dash-space should indicate to divide the statistic so the song has it's own count. Making sense?
For example, Queen plays: Death on Two Legs / Killer Queen / Bicycle Race / I'm in Love With My Car. In the statistic you'll see just that, but I think each of the four songs should simply count toward it's own song rather than having the medley be the song.

Sorry, no progress on this. Although it might look like it, It isn't easy to implement.

How's it looking? This FR exists for like eight years, is the most liked one and still is not implemented although it shouldn't really be that hard to implement ...

So where's the feature?

I agree with most of the comments here. When a medley includes a cover song(s), information is lost with the current system, if the medley is entered as First / Second / Third

medleys aren't the full song and therefore can't be counted as full songs. LOGIC
in fact incomplete performances should be marked as such

Agree.
Not only statistics, but the info of each song (like @cover) cannot be included either...
Detail: solo songs that marked as partial or something similar, are included in the statistics normally so there is no reason to not include the parts of a medley individually on the statistics
One idia is to to something like the @Set.
We could put on
@Medley and the medley will include all songs until the next blank line

Definitely. I hate how Medleys get shelved under "Other" rather than each song in the medley being attributed to its proper album. For example, http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/phoenix/2013/tom-lee-park-memphis-tn-73d8064d.html. "Too Young / Girlfriend" gets put under "Other", and the album that "Too Young" is from does not show up in the 'Songs on Albums' statistic. The individual songs in the medley need to count separately, rather than together as one song.

I found @Cover tag to a Medley part, was removed by the parser. So various ppl have had a try at presenting the info correctly but we end up missing some info and have had to resort to just @Info

How about a function called @Medley? When you use it, setlist.fm will recognize the songs as a medley. Unfortunately, there are some non-medley songs with a / in it (like many Moonsorrow songs: Hiidenpelto / Häpeän Hiljaiset Vedet; Tuulen Tytär / Soturin Tie; Jumalten Kaupunki / Tuhatvuotinen Perintö). So you can either choose if the song is medley or not.
And the most important point: With this function, the Moderators don't have to make the album "Medley" for every band. Almost all medleys on setlist.fm are listed as "Other". It would be much faster and easier for everyone with this function. I think it would suit your idea well :)

I agree! Though the software should be clever enough to distinguish medleys and snippets, but still count the overall songs. The way http://www.u2gigs.com/ works is a great example.

I agree, and it should be possible to add cover snippet annotations to each song in the medley as well.
