  1. Add ability to reply directly to profile comments

    Problem: Currently, users can leave comments on another user's profile, but that user cannot respond directly to that comment. They have to go to the other's profile and add a comment there which doesn't connect the original comment as reference.

    Feature Request: Allow the ability for a profile owner to reply directly to comments made on their own profile.

  2. Allow Japanese hiragana/katakana/kanji please

    If I include Japanese kana and/or kanji, the setlist is not able to be submitted because the system thinks I am posting emojis.

  3. Event Date - ability to enter only the year, or month/year

    Would it be possible to enable just the year, or month and year, to be entered into the Event Date? I went to a number of gigs in the 70s where I can remember only the year precisely. I have a very vague idea of which month it might have been, but no idea what the actual day of the month would have been. Could the date validation be altered to allow ?? or blanks/zeros in the day and month fields? Otherwise I can only enter these gigs by taking a wild guess at the actual date. Someone out there…

  4. Downloadable file with complete information about the shows I have attended.

    The downloadable file (.txt or .csv) would include complete information about all the shows I have attended: the artist, the date, the venue, and the setlist.

  8. Don't require edit comments for all edits

    It's really obnoxious that an edit comment is required when adding a song, especially when adding song-by-song during a concert. It wastes time and produces low-quality comments. Worse yet, the minimum character count means I can't just write "add song".

  10. Festival timetable

    I would like to see the full schedule for old festivals. With start and endtimes added, all we need is an entry for the stage at the festival. Then we can all see the timetable for Woodstock 69, Reading 92, Glastonbury 2023 and so on.

  11. Add a link to other artists on the same tour.

    It would be nice if SetList included a link to the other artists on the same tour on a given date. It seems that even if you click on the Tour, it only brings you to the given artist (For example, The Last Summer on Earth Tour had Barenaked ladies, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Gin Blossoms. If I click the “LAST SUMMER ON EARTH TOUR” Link under Barenaked Ladies, it still only shows the Barenaked ladies on that particular tour. I’d have to search for Gin Blossoms separately to get their setlist.

  13. rework your method of scrolling through pages of a bands setlist

    to understand, try to find the setlist for the May 17th, 1980 show for the band Rush. Utter pain trying to go forward more than two pages at a time when there's like 250 pages... need a way to advance bigger blocks of pages or search by date (wait, does that exist already?)

  14. Add featured artists to your list of artists that you've seen

    I went to a show that was a birthday party for Alan Parsons. Many other musicians came out and performed throughout the night. It would be cool to have those artist that are listed as "Featured" or "With" as a guest performer also be added to the list of the artists you've seen without having to create a separate setlist for each.

  15. For each artist, show a calendar/date-picker

    The calendar would show one month at a time, with days that contain a setlist indicated as such, for example, a different background color.

    Allow the user to change the month/year shown in the calendar. This would make finding a specific show easier and faster. For example, I know I saw Metallica in 1992 in Cincinnati. Getting to that page using the pagination buttons is a pain in the neck. But I could very quickly change the calendar to Jan 1992 and start looking for highlighted dates. Maybe add a hover (on desktop of course) that would give Venue and…

    Would be nice if the artist page were personalizable with their artwork, etc.

    Might not be a priority for sure but that's an idea.

  17. Covers titles on artist page

    Accepting my previous suggestion, covering band were added to the original artist page but when you click on the artist who played the cover, you have to go through all the songs played and find the cover by yourself.

    So the idea would be to get something like this :

    Covering band - Covered song

    For exemple, on David Bowie's page, you'd see :

    Nine Inch Nails - I'm Afraid Of Americans

    so you wouldn't have to go to the NIN page and find the song yourself.

  18. block google indexing of artist pages with no content

    I googled a band I like & your site appeared high in the results, offering a link to this band's set lists, covers & more! But clicking it opened a page with no set lists, no info, ZERO content—totally empty except for the band's name up top in plain text (not even a frigging logo!) plus one lonely link (Band Lyrics) which opened some unrelated all-German site. I now suspect your site of piping 1000s of empty unauthorized artist links into google to lure folks here falsely (while simultaneously adding obstacles to all searches for legit artist info). SHAME!   19. add feature connecting bands with cities

    add feature where the user can type in a band name along with a city together. this would make searching for a certain set much easier to find rather than sifting through page after page

  20. To make Info tag on songs unlimited, like the Tag Info of the show

    Sometimes something very different happen during a song (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/angra/2014/circo-voador-rio-de-janeiro-brazil-3bc0d494.html), or song has a lot o sinppets (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/legiao-urbana/1990/estadio-palestra-italia-sao-paulo-brazil-1bc74de0.html) or snippets of songs have long names (or are from artistis with long names), and other situation; and as the Tag Info of the song is limited, there is no space to describe everything...
    And so we have to use the Tag Info of the show to describe the details of the song...
