  3. The Internet Archive has a massive collections of concert recordings that could be used to fill in missing setlists. Would it be possible to import that data into the setlist.fm data base?

  6. It would be great to see the duration of the show on the setlist page to get an idea of how long the artist is usually playing on each concert or the what they might play on a festival where they have less time than usual

  7. With the use of periscope, it's easy to watch your favorite artists live from the comfort of your own couch!

The set list on this site is updated in almost real time and it would be awesome to sign up for alerts for your favorite artists to know what song they are currently playing...in real time!

  8. First I thought about the option to designate your favourites among the songs you've heard live from your profile, but then I thought, why not do it directly from the setlist?
What I imagine is a button similar to Facebook's famous "like" button, with a different logo - maybe a heart, smiley or simply the setlist.fm logo - I'd go with a heart - next to each song on the setlist. When you hover over the button with your mouse, it will display "I was very excited this song was performed". Next to the button, if anyone clicked it already,…

  11. I think a checkbox by songs after you've clicked attended could be a good idea. For example, when I only see a band play half a set at a festival I don't add it to my profile as I didn't see all the songs. this could be a good way around that - we could untick songs we missed.

  13. I have a list of over 500 gigs including support bands in an Excel spreadsheet from years ago. I'd love to import the info into setlist.fm but there seems to be no way to do this.
I realise that everyone would format their spreadsheets in different ways so it could potentially be tricky, but maybe there could be a standard format with incorrectly formatted spreadsheets/CSV files being rejected.

  15. Have a box for each show you attended for how much you paid for the ticket. This way you could see how much you have spent on gigs totally since you started going to them, and also you could see an average.

  16. If I add a whole tour for 2 or 3 bands could be much easier. It should be possible to add a setlist for the next day not only for the current artist, but also for all artists that played on the same day.

  17. It would be nice to put more data for a venue, like address (street, postal code) and the geo-coordinates (and then a link to Google Maps).

  19. Several shows I've attended have had special guests come and join the band for a cover song. We really need the ability to document this in the setlists.

    For example:
Deer Tick covering Helpless by Niel Young with Lucius & Jim James.

    Helpless @Cover[Niel Young] @With[Lucius] @With[Jim James]

    or something...
