  1. I know that simplicity is the best feature for a site. But could you consider adding some more information to the concerts? Like duration of the concert/encore. The delay from the begining. These attributes could be used to calculate an average duration of a concert of an artist in the year, etc.

  6. In the 'seen live' list of Artists on your Profile page - If you click on an Artist it would be far more useful if that then brought up a page listing the gigs you have been to by that Artist. Currently it just goes to the top of the Artist gig list and you have to wade through time or search from what you remember of some gig details.

  7. For example, the official name of the venues in Barcelona are in Catalan (i.e. Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys instead of Estadio Olímpico).

  8. The whole point of OpenID is that we can use any OpenID service provider and not be tied down to a single provider like MyOpenID.

  9. At the moment everyone can see in its own profile with the following charts:
    1) Artists Seen Live – 2) Recent Concerts – 3) All Concerts – 4) Total songs – 5) Years on Concerts – 6) Artists

    what about a 7th point – Venues?

  10. I just went to Groezrock last weekend and figured it'd be pretty nice to add stages to festivals. Just a little optional feature to indicate if a show was played on the main stage, acoustic stage etc.

Perhaps even time-schedules to go with the stages. E.g.: Band X played the Main Stage from 1.00-2.00 and so on. Both would be optional features.

Why do I think this is nice? Well, I am currently adding the @Set["Stage name here.] before each festival show since it's pretty handy to know.

  11. Have the ability to export your concert history into a printable PDF which includes the bands/venues/dates/setlists so that you can easily view and print your full concert history

  12. I would really like to see more statistics on our profiles of concerts we have attended. For example instead of a list of the top songs we have seen live, how about a list of top countries and cities we have seen bands in. Also in addition to an alphabetical list of bands we have seen, how about a list of the top bands we have seen live? Just some thoughts. Cheers.

  14. ... add a field for notes for each concert listing; for instance, if I wanted to add my seat # or say that the sound sucked. Thanks.

  15. Covers should only be songs not performed by the original recording artist or songwriter. The @Cover and @Song tags should have different rules and should be tracked separately statistically.
For example, look at Sting's Tour Statistics for Covers and his number one covered band is... Stewart Copland drum roll... The Police. Sting wrote these songs, he is playing his songs, from a different band in a solo show. These are not covers.
Even worse; look at the recent David Crosby & Graham Nash tour stats. All these guys do is play covers if you look at the stats but they…

  18. Latin charsets are great for the Americas/Europe/Australia, but what about the rest of the world? Add support for Unicode! Musicbrainz will handle potential collisions (since MBID is used), and many artists there already have romanizations.

  19. Some songs from more recent albums are added to the album, but others are not. I'm new to setlist.fm but I understand there is an automatic system in place for this, but allowing users to do this could speed it up.
This could possibly extend to a list of albums on each band's page, so that songs can be matched to this?

  20. This would cover all solos, unknown instrumentals played. On song statistics it should come up as Instrumental, or maybe not come up at all, but in setlists it should come up as whatever you type following the @Instrumental.

    e.g. @Instrumental[Edward Van Halen Guitar Solo] , @Instrumental[Funk Jam]
