Group opening and main acts as a singular time you visited a venue
When you look at venues you have attended, if you have seen a main act and an opening act at a venue on the same day they are listed as two separate times you have attended the venue, this isn't correct and makes it more confusing to see which venue you have actually attended the most times when looking at your concert statistics, It would be nice to be able to group the two acts together as a singular visit to the venue.

The downloadable file (.txt or .csv) would include complete information about all the shows I have attended: the artist, the date, the venue, and the setlist.

Amount of Times a Song Has Opened or Closed a Show Statistic Please!
Add a statistic for the total number of times a song has been played as an opener , closer, etc. and the last time it was played as one of those. I've been wanting this for a while and I think it would be really nice to have.

I'm not sure whether this has been suggested in the past or not, but here goes:
My idea is that users get a little customizable sandbox section within setlist.fm (much like wikipedia sandboxes that enable you add whatever information you desire to your own page without creating a hassle for the public). It can be useful for users trying to familiarize themselves with the website, or people who are just willing to experiment with their own custom setlists.3 votes -
Event Date - ability to enter only the year, or month/year
Would it be possible to enable just the year, or month and year, to be entered into the Event Date? I went to a number of gigs in the 70s where I can remember only the year precisely. I have a very vague idea of which month it might have been, but no idea what the actual day of the month would have been. Could the date validation be altered to allow ?? or blanks/zeros in the day and month fields? Otherwise I can only enter these gigs by taking a wild guess at the actual date. Someone out there…

Allow us to turn setlists into playlists on music apps like Spotify
I would love a quick way to import a setlist into a playlist on spotify for example. Without having to go in the app and add the songs manually

If I include Japanese kana and/or kanji, the setlist is not able to be submitted because the system thinks I am posting emojis.

Check box for "I Was There" when creating setlist
It would be handy to have a box to click saying "I was there" while creating a new setlist. It would make it easier to automatically add it to your stats while creating it, instead of needing to remember to click it afterward.
Having it as a check box option on that creation page also allows someone who's adding historical show data to the site not have to have it added to user stats, but someone creating a set list who was indeed there can click the box and have it auto-added to their stats.

Add ability to reply directly to profile comments
Problem: Currently, users can leave comments on another user's profile, but that user cannot respond directly to that comment. They have to go to the other's profile and add a comment there which doesn't connect the original comment as reference.
Feature Request: Allow the ability for a profile owner to reply directly to comments made on their own profile.

Communicate methodology for creating average setlist
For transparency, it would be nice to know how the average setlist of an artist is generated. Alternatively, adding the average playlist to the Setlist API would be nice.

Remove future date restriction for events
Doesn't really seem very useful. Tours/shows are announced in advance, and it would be nice to be able to add them as future events, have people mark their attendance, comment on them, etc. and then add the setlist after the show without having to create the event from scratch. Disallow the option of modifying the setlist itself before the day of the event to curb vandalism.

Add sort options in artist statistics, list of songs played: sort songs by date most recently played, or alphabetical, or most played
When viewing the statistics of an artist, there is a list of all songs they have performed live in concerts. That list of songs is sorted with the most frequently played song listed first, and a count of how many times the song was performed. It would be nice to have the option to list the performed songs in other sort orders. I would like to be able to sort by alphabetical name of song, or by which song was performed MOST RECENTLY.
