  1. Would be nice if we could state when solos are played without being counted as a song.

  2. Is it worth adding a feature to add a Scan of the Set List from the Actual Gig? I have quite a few from gigs I've been to, hey just an Idea.

  3. It would be very nice if we could report duplicates. The site is full of them, just look at Radiohead's page...

  4. Accepting my previous suggestion, covering band were added to the original artist page but when you click on the artist who played the cover, you have to go through all the songs played and find the cover by yourself.

So the idea would be to get something like this :

    Covering band - Covered song

For exemple, on David Bowie's page, you'd see :

Nine Inch Nails - I'm Afraid Of Americans

so you wouldn't have to go to the NIN page and find the song yourself.

  5. I thought it would be nice to create a leg subcategory for tours.
This way we could separate different legs for the same tour.

Exemple : Radiohead's In Rainbows tour contained 2 US legs, 2 european ones, a japan leg, etc.

That would allow to display setlists statistics for each of those legs instead of the massive tour ones.

  6. I recently modified the Tour info for Tool and it took ages...

    So here's my idea.
We could create a page for each tour in which you'd state begining and ending dates, this way all the shows between those dates would be automaticaly a part of it and no more need to modify every single show.

  7. Would be nice if the artist page were personalizable with their artwork, etc.

Might not be a priority for sure but that's an idea.

  8. I would love if there was an alternate way to view an artists' setlist which gave them as a list as opposed to the large bloated way they are shown now.

Something with a date column following the YYYY-MM-DD format would be great. I am primarily interested in working on the Amanda Palmer/Dresden Dolls setlists and I have information from so many shows that it will take forever and aside from searching for each individual show, there's no way to just see them all (unless I'm missing it).

  10. Should be useful have something that indicates that a setlist is not completed. For example, if the creator only remember few songs, or not remember them in order.

Maybe another box in the checklist should be the option, and this created a flag that indicates that the setlist is not completed yet.

  12. There is already a page that shows all the artists & setlists that you are subscribed to:
    http://www.setlist.fm/notifications/leglessmoof

(I'm not proposing any changes to that page as I think it's fine now.)

It would be nice to have a page that displays all the notifications that were sent to you. Here is an example of what you might see on the page:

Embody updated "Arch Enemy Setlist Norway Rock Festival, Kvinesdal, Norway 2009, Summer Tyranny "
riazor updated "Pearl Jam Setlist Off Ramp Cafe, Seattle, WA 1990"
lilith wrote a new comment to "Metallica Setlist Optimus Alive Festival, Lisbon, Portugal…

  13. Would it be possible to add a suggest link button next to the artists links?

I think there should be a comprehensive list of official and unofficial links, as there are a lot of sites that cater for bands and never get plugged.

  15. Currently, when I import a concert from last.fm, it only imports one of the artists, even though last.fm event lists multiple artists.

Would it be possible to get all artists from last.fm, or allow the user to select which artists he/she saw?

  16. Say, on the 1st of May a band plays 15 songs. On the 2nd of May they play 14 of the same songs and one new song. On the 3rd of May the play 13 original songs, yesterday's new one and another two ones.

So, the list should be like that:

    May, 1: <15 songs>

    May, 2: <1 song>

    May, 3: <2 songs>

  18. Rather than every edit appearing in a list under the setlist, it'd be tidier to hide them under one button. When clicked it'd reveal the list of edits. At the moment it looks very cluttered and comments about the concert become mixed up among the list of edits. I don't think it'd be so difficult to do.

  19. It'd be great to export a setlist into iTunes and/or last.fm to be able to easily play the songs in the order they were played on the night.

  20. Well, for example, Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother". It was performed numerous times before the album's release, it was then named "The Amazing Pudding". Should we put "The Amazing Pudding" in the setlist or should it be "Atom Heart Mother"?

if it’s the same song, it should be the same songname – with generally is how it’s named on the album. please read the comments in this thread for clarification
